Strategi Pengendalian Persediaan Komponen PCB Di Pt Jabil Circuit Malaysia Untuk Meminimalkan Downtime Produksi

Persediaan komponen yang tidak terkendali dapat menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan operasional dan kerugian finansial pada perusahaan manufaktur elektronik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengendalian persediaan komponen Printed Circuit Board (PCB) di PT Jabil Circuit Malaysia serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas strategi tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan menggunakan lima strategi utama yaitu pemanfaatan sistem ERP, penetapan safety stock, peramalan kebutuhan secara manual, koordinasi antardepartemen, dan pengadaan darurat. Namun, strategi tersebut masih menghadapi tantangan seperti akurasi peramalan yang rendah, kurangnya pemanfaatan sistem ERP secara maksimal, serta koordinasi lintas fungsi yang belum optimal. Tujuh faktor utama yang memengaruhi efektivitas strategi adalah akurasi forecasting, kecepatan manajemen, koordinasi antar tim, ketidakpastian lead time, kebijakan safety stock, kedisiplinan SOP, dan dukungan teknologi. Disarankan agar perusahaan mengoptimalkan sistem ERP sebagai alat pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, melakukan evaluasi berkala terhadap safety stock, serta meningkatkan integrasi antar bagian untuk mendukung pengendalian persediaan yang proaktif dan efisien.
